STILLWATER — The Big 12 Conference has released the football schedule for Eric Morris’ first season as the Oklahoma State coach.
The Cowboys have a backloaded slate in conference play, with three road trips in the final five weeks of the season, and games against the last two conference champions, Texas Tech and Arizona State.
But that also means the Morris era will get a softer launch into Big 12 action, with the opener at West Virginia on Sept. 26, followed by an open week before hosting UCF on Oct. 10.
OSU’s non-conference schedule, which had previously been reported, opens at Tulsa on Sept. 5, followed by Eric Morris’ first game at Boone Pickens Stadium, taking on expected national title contender Oregon on Sept. 12.
The non-conference portion ends at home against Murray State on Sept. 19.
Kickoff times and television networks will be set at a later date.
