The Oklahoma State quarterback room is all but cleared out as the transfer portal opens Friday.
Hauss Hejny, a redshirt freshman quarterback for the Cowboys this season, announced on social media Thursday that he is entering the transfer portal.
"I want to thank Coach (Mike) Gundy for the opportunity to play for such an amazing program," Hejny wrote in his post. "To the coaches, training staff and a special thanks to Coach (Doug) Meacham and Coach (Kevin) Johns for their guidance and mentorship.
"Stillwater is a special place, and I want to make the time to let the fans and community know how grateful I am for their support."
Hejny played the first three drives of OSU's season opener against UT Martin before suffering a season-ending fracture in his left foot. On those first two drives, Hejny led touchdown drives, including a highlight-reel 27-yard touchdown run. He was also 5 for 10 through the air for 96 yards.
Hejny redshirted as a true freshman at TCU in 2024 and then followed former TCU inside receivers coach Doug Meacham, who was hired as OSU's offensive coordinator, to Stillwater this past spring.
OSU quarterbacks Banks Bowen, Zane Flores and Mason Schubert all announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal back in December.
