Oklahoma State transfer, Vols' commit signs with Baylor football

Former Oklahoma State wide receiver and return specialist Gavin Freeman entered the NCAA transfer portal and committed to Tennessee football on Jan. 10.

He decommitted from the Vols on Thursday and signed with Baylor, according to Pete Nakos of On3.

The 5-foot-8, 185-pound wide receiver and specialist appeared in 15 games at Oklahoma State from 2024-25. Freeman totaled 59 receptions for 526 yards and four touchdowns. He also recorded 207 kick return yards and 99 punt return yards at Oklahoma State.

Freeman transferred to the Cowboys from Oklahoma. From 2022-23, he appeared in 26 contests for the Sooners and recorded 22 receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown.

Freeman is the son of former Oklahoma tight end Jason Freeman. Gavin Freeman started his collegiate career at Oklahoma as walk-on and earned a scholarship for the spring 2023 semester.

Gavin Freeman is from Heritage Hall School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
