Ole Miss football has flipped a second LSU commit for the 2026 class since Lane Kiffin left to become the Tigers coach.
Jalan Chapman, a three-star offensive lineman, has flipped to Ole Miss from LSU, according to On3 on Dec. 5.
Kervin Johnson Jr., a three-star receiver, flipped from LSU and signed with Ole Miss on Dec. 3.
Ole Miss promoted Pete Golding from defensive coordinator to coach after Kiffin left Nov. 30.
Ole Miss lost three commits from its 2026 Class to LSU after Kiffin left: JC Anderson, a four-star tight end, four-star wide receiver Corey Barber and three-star offensive lineman Ryan Miret.
Chapman played at Warren Easton High School in New Orleans. He is the No. 30 player in Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite.
He had been committed to LSU since July 2024 but decommitted Dec. 2.
Ole Miss has 18 players in the 2026 class, which is ranked 30th nationally and 11th in the SEC.
