Ole Miss football has landed another wide receiver from the transfer portal.
Auburn‘s Horatio Fields committed to Ole Miss on Feb. 2, according to On3. He previously signed with Missouri, but was released from that agreement. Fields is listed as a 6-foot-2, 201-pound receiver from Douglasville, Georgia.
He played in four games at Auburn in 2025 before missing the rest of a season with a broken foot and obtaining a medical redshirt. He caught 12 passes for 106 yards and one touchdown.
Fields spent four seasons at Wake Forest, playing in two. There, he totaled 44 receptions for 517 yards and four touchdowns. One of his teammates at Wake Forest was Ole Miss wide receiver Deuce Alexander.
Fields is rated as a four-star recruit in the transfer portal by 247Sports. He reportedly never enrolled at Missouri despite signing with the program on Jan. 8.
Fields is the 29th transfer to join the Rebels and the fifth wide receiver transfer. He joins Kentucky’s Cameron Miller, Virginia Tech’s Isaiah Spencer and Syracuse’s Darrell Gill Jr. and Johntay Cook.
