We’re down to just 34 days until the start of a brand new season of Penn State Football!

Chris Fileppo is one of the many new faces to join the Nittany Lions in 2026. He began his career at West Virginia, but decided to return to his home state after one season as a Mountaineer. Fileppo was able to play in all 12 games as a true freshman, contributing 12 tackles and a TFL in 2025.

Fileppo is listed at linebacker, and is an intriguing addition to the unit due to his experience playing safety. While he is not likely in line for a starting spot at this point, his coverage skills should help get him on the field as he becomes a useful piece for D’Anton Lynn in his first year as Penn State’s defensive coordinator.
