A Nazareth, Pennsylvania native, Peyton Falzone was originally committed to Penn State’s 2026 recruiting class, but he opted to flip his commitment to Auburn last summer. He remained in the Tigers’ class until December 3, 2025, two days before Matt Campbell was officially announced as Penn State’s football coach. For a moment in time, Falzone and Jackson Ford were the only two members of the Nittany Lions’ 2026 class.

Falzone was recruited as a quarterback, but during fall camp, the coaching staff has him transitioning to tight end. He has added some muscle this offseason and has been working with the tight end coaches:

Moving back to quarterback in the future is still on the table, but the coaching staff clearly sees another way he can contribute to the team right now. Falzone is unlikely to see much playing time this season with a logjam at tight end, though the future looks bright.
