The transfer portal officially opened up on Friday morning, and the Oregon Ducks have seen a few reserve players announce their intentions to leave Eugene and find a new school.

The latest player to announce this was cornerback Daylen Austin, who has spent the past three seasons in Eugene. Austin has served as a rotational defensive back, and a critical player on special teams. He redshirted in his first season with Oregon in 2023, so he will have two years of eligibility at his next school.

Austin was a major recruit for Dan Lanning in the 2023 class, flipping from the LSU Tigers as a highly-ranked 4-star player. During his 30 games with the Ducks, Austin recorded 23 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one interception.

Austin is the fourth member of the Ducks to announce his transfer on Friday, and the 11th to enter the portal so far this year.
