The Oregon Ducks are hot on the recruiting trail right now, and it doesn’t appear they plan on cooling off any time soon.

On Tuesday morning, the Ducks added one of the best players in the class, getting a commitment from 5-star wide receiver Dakota Guerrant, the No. 4 WR and No. 23 overall player in the class. This is the second 5-star that the Ducks have now in the class, per 247Sports.

It also gives the Ducks a major duo in the 2027 class, pairing elite QB Will Mencl with Guerrant, one of the best receivers in the nation, who stands at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds.

With the commitment, Oregon jumped up a few spots in the 2027 recruiting rankings, now sitting at No. 4 in the nation, ahead of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Florida Gators. With official visit season in full swing, there’s a high likelihood that they continue to add to this haul over the coming days and weeks as well, building toward what will likely be another top-five signing class when all is said and done.
