The Oregon Ducks were fortunate to land one Anthony Jones in the 2026 class, signing 5-star EDGE "Tank" Jones back in December. Now, on the late signing day in February, the Ducks have added another Anthony Jones.
On Wednesday morning, Jones announced that he would be committing to the Oregon Ducks in the 2026 class. Jones is rated by 247Sports as a 4-star player who is the No. 35 DL in the class. According to the 247Sports Composite, he is the No. 439 player in the class.
Jones originally committed to UCLA, but went back on his commitment after coach DeShaun Foster was fired. He recommitted to the Bruins, but didn't sign in December and decided to part ways with the new coaching staff that came in.
Jones now joins a talented group of defensive linemen in the 2026 class: five-star Tank Jones, four-star Tony Cumberland, four-star Prince Tavizon, and three-star edge Dutch Horisk.
