The Oregon Ducks were busy on Saturday morning in Eugene when it came to the transfer portal.

After hosting a number of players on visits over the last few days, a couple of new commitments have come in, one of which was from former Clemson Tigers defensive end Markus Dixon. The former tight end turned defensive end has been at Clemson for three years now, but does not have many stats to show for it. He played in three games for the Tigers this past season.

Coming out of high school, Dixon was a tight end from the Philadelphia area, rated by 247Sports as a 3-star, the No. 29 TE in the 2023 class.

Dixon is expected to play tight end in Eugene, and will likely serve as an in-line guy, which is a needed spot to fill on Oregon's roster. With Jamari Johnson back, along with the incoming transfer of Andrew Olesh, and incoming freshman Kendre Harrison, Oregon's TE room is now stocked for the 2026 seaseon.
