The Oregon Ducks landed another big name in the transfer portal, getting a commitment from former Ohio State Buckeyes cornerback Aaron Scott Jr., who was on campus for a visit in Eugene earlier this week.
Scott Jr. is a former 5-star recruit who was rated as the No. 5 CB and No. 36 overall player in the 2024 class. In his two years with Ohio State, Scott played in 19 games, racking up 11 tackles, one tackle for loss, and two pass break-ups. He will have two years of eligibility going forward.
Oregon recruited Scott Jr. out of high school and was among his top schools before he committed to Ohio State.
While the Ducks are strong in the secondary going into 2026, with freshman phenom Brandon Finney Jr. returning alongside guys like Ify Obidegwu, Na'eem Offord, and Dorian Brew, there is a need for some depth and experience at the cornerback position.

While Scott does not have dozens of starts to his resume, he has played on big stages before, and has a high upside that the Ducks are familiar with.
