The Oregon Ducks received a high profile commitment on Friday, as linebacker Brayton Feister officially declared his allegiance to the University of Oregon on the Pat McAfee Show.

The class of 2027 prospect has been in high demand throughout his high school career, which started at Archbishop Hoban and will continue at Massillon Washington. Feister was everywhere on defense last season, posting 133 tackles, 13 sacks, four forced fumbles and two interceptions.

Feister also displayed his talent on the other side of the ball as a running back, where he scored 17 touchdowns and rushed for over 1,000 yards as a junior.

California, Georgia and Ohio State were finalists for Feister's services, but the well-rounded prospect ultimately unzipped his sweater to reveal an Oregon shirt while announcing his decision on live television.

"You don't really know exactly what it is, but you just know something draws you to that place. That's kind of how I picked Oregon," he said.
