Oregon lands trio of commits on preseason high school All-America team

The Oregon Ducks put together an incredible 2027 recruiting class, landing 25 commitments across 18 states. The Ducks have established themselves as a national recruiting powerhouse under Dan Lanning, holding the No. 3 class in the country per 247Sports.

The high school season is underway for some programs around the country, and the 2027 recruiting class is aiming to make a final impression before signing with a college in the winter. 247Sports unveiled its preseason high school All-America team, where three of Oregon's top commits made the cut at their respective positions.

Dakota Guerrant is the No. 23 overall player in the 2027 class and Oregon's top commit. The wideout from Harper Woods, Michigan, was a massive win for the Ducks this summer. He is one of three wideouts on the All-America team, alongside USC's Roye Oliver III and Texas' Easton Royal.

Guerrant, another five-star wideout the Ducks have swayed on the recruiting trail, made 58 catches for 1,100 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior. He can be deployed out of the backfield, out wide, and on special teams. Guerrant wins jump balls with ease and is a nightmare for defenses after the catch with his speed. Instead of staying close to home, he plans to join his dream school and compete for early playing time as a freshman.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Ducks landed a pair of commits on the All-America team, including the program's most recent pledge. Four-star linebacker Brayton Feister was named the 247Sports Preseason Player of the Year in Ohio, and the athletic linebacker and running back will look to build upon a massive junior season.

After transferring to Massillon High School for his senior season, Feister committed to the Ducks in August over Georgia, California and Ohio State. At 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, Feister is already well prepared to step into the physical Big Ten and become an impact defender. At The Opening in Beaverton, Feister posted 50 bench press reps of 185 pounds.

As a junior, Feister made 133 tackles, including 39 for a loss, and 13 sacks. As a running back, Feister had 1,098 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns. His dominance and big, physical frame are all too similar to Noah Sewell, who starred for the Ducks at linebacker for three seasons. If Feister can produce like Sewell in Eugene, the Ducks will be getting everything they are hoping for.

Semaj Stanford, a four-star safety out of Oklahoma, also made the list. He is the No. 3 safety in the class and No. 60 player overall, according to 247Sports. Stanford committed to the Ducks back in April and has only continued to rise in the recruiting rankings with strong showings at different camps during the summer.

A true center fielder at safety, Stanford's speed and ball skills separate him from the pack as one of the nation's top prep defenders. In his junior season at Broken Arrow High School, Stanford made 109 tackles and snagged five interceptions, two of which he returned for scores. He also had two forced fumbles and blocked a pair of kicks. Stanford also was a key part of the offense, picking up 741 yards and 11 scores as Broken Arrow made a run to the state semifinals.
