The Oregon Ducks are wrapping up their second weekend of official visits on Sunday. The program has already added four-star linebacker Toa Satele after the first round of official visits, and more could be on the way soon.
The Ducks did, however, miss out on three-star linebacker Drew Williams, who announced his commitment to Kentucky on Sunday. Williams was in Eugene for an official visit last weekend.
Williams chose Kentucky over Oregon, Florida and LSU. He arrived in Lexington for his official vist this weekend and is leaving as a Wildcat. Williams is the No. 41 linebacker in the country and No. 51 player from the state of Georgia, per Rivals. The rankings, however, don’t do his play justice. Williams racked up 135 tackles, 20 quarterback pressures and five sacks as a junior at Sequoyah High School in Canton, Georgia.

Oregon offered Williams in late April and worked quickly to become a finalist. However, his connection to Will Stein and Kentucky was evident all along. The Ducks did have a positive visit with Williams last weekend, but Oregon already has a solid group of linebackers committed.
In addition to Satele, four-star Brandon Lockley Jr. and three-star Sam Ngata are already locked in with the Ducks. Oregon is also in the hunt for a commitment from four-star linebacker Brayton Feister, who is expected to be in Eugene on June 19 for his official visit.
The Ducks still have the No. 9 recruiting class in the nation, per Rivals, and will look to add to that class this summer as more top recruits arrive on campus for official visits.
