The offensive line dominance for the Oregon Ducks has continued, as the 2025 unit has been named a finalist for the Joe Moore Award for the third straight season.

The Joe Moore Award recognizes the most outstanding offensive line unit in all of college football, representing the following values: “toughness, effort, teamwork, consistency, technique and finishing,” per the award’s website.

The news comes a day after center Iapani Laloulu, the leader of the group, was named a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, given to the most outstanding center in college football. While Laloulu has been the engine behind the operation, others have stood out in their own ways.

As transfers, both right tackle Alex Harkey (Texas State) and left tackle Isaiah World (Nevada) claimed starting jobs right from the jump, excelling on the edges and keeping quarterback Dante Moore clean. Harkey has been dealing with an injury over the past month, with backup Gernorris Wilson stepping in admirably when called upon.

On the interior, guards Dave Iuli and Emmanuel Pregnon have been road-graders in the run game, helping fuel the ninth-best rushing attack in yards per game in the country. Pregnon, a transfer from USC, has generated significant draft buzz as one of the top guards in the 2026 draft class.

Laloulu has also dealt with an injury late in the season, as he missed a majority of the Ducks‘ high-leverage bout with the USC Trojans after his ankle was rolled up on. Backup Charlie Pickard, a senior, stepped in and got the job done on senior day, an impressive moment of resolve for this group.

The stats tell the whole story: as mentioned, the Oregon offensive line has produced the ninth-best rushing attack and allowed just 14 sacks on the season, good for just over one per game — two marks that are going to lead to a lot of wins for the Ducks.

The Ducks’ offensive line unit was selected as a finalist alongside the Indiana Hoosiers and Iowa Hawkeyes, with the winner being announced during a surprise on-campus announcement on the winning unit’s campus in mid-to-late December 2025.
