It appears that No. 13 Oregon won't have Dante Moore for its game against No. 21 UCLA on Saturday.
According to CBS Sports, Moore is "currently considered unlikely to play" against the Bruins. Oregon's first injury report of the week is slated to be released Wednesday evening.
Moore suffered a concussion in the Ducks' Week 4 win over USC when his head violently hit the turf following a helmet-to-helmet hit while sliding. USC LB Desman Stephens II was ejected for targeting on the play and subsequently suspended for USC's Week 5 win over Washington for his actions after the play.
With Moore likely unable to go, former Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola will get his first start in an Oregon uniform. Raiola replaced Moore against the Trojans and was 19-of-25 passing for 289 yards and two touchdowns in the 41-27 victory.
The Ducks were off in Week 5 and Oregon coach Dan Lanning said Monday that Moore had returned to practice this week.
Moore was considered a potential top-two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft before he decided to return to school. His decision came after Raiola committed to Oregon following two seasons with the Cornhuskers.
Through portions of four games, Moore is 69-of-99 passing for 926 yards and nine touchdowns with no interceptions, while Raiola has thrown for 413 yards on 36 pass attempts after attempting his first throws of the season in Oregon's win over Portland State in Week 3.
