Oregon quarterback Dante Moore suffered a concussion in win over USC

Oregon Ducks starting quarterback Dante Moore suffered a concussion against the USC Trojans, according to Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. They believe that is his only injury after he took a scary hit during Oregon's 41-27 win over USC on Saturday and that he will return at some point this season.

Moore slid but was hit by USC linebacker Desman Stephens, who was ejected from the game for targeting. He was down on the field for several minutes before being carted off the field and into an ambulance, where he was then taken to the hospital.

He led Oregon to a 13-2 record and a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals last season, electing to return for a second season as their starter despite heavy interest from the NFL. He entered the season as one of the top quarterbacks in the country and a potential All-American.

He has completed 69 of his 99 passes this season for 926 yards, nine touchdowns, and zero interceptions. He was 8-of-10 for 77 yards before he left the USC game.

While there is no timeline for his return, Oregon has an experienced backup in Dylan Raiola, who led them to victory against USC. He was a two-year starter with the Nebraska Cornhuskers before joining Oregon this offseason. He showed why the Ducks believed in him, completing 19 of his 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns.

Oregon (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) is on a bye this week but will host the undefeated UCLA Bruins and Cornhuskers in the following two weeks.
