The transfer portal continues to make its mark on the Oregon Ducks‘ roster, as redshirt sophomore tight end/H-back Zach Grace reportedly plans to enter the transfer portal, per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.
Grace never caught a pass during his three seasons with the Ducks. He didn’t appear in a game as a true freshman in 2023, utilizing a redshirt. He saw more time in 2024, appearing in ten games and playing in 41 snaps, but never managed to establish a role as a redshirt sophomore, likely factoring into his expected departure.
The 6-foot-3, 238-pounder was an unranked prospect coming out of Kearney High School in Kearney, MO, choosing Oregon over Navy, his only other offer according to On3 Sports.

With the expected return of both Jamari Johnson and Roger Saleapaga, the Ducks are well-stocked at the tight end position heading into 2026.
True freshman running back Jordon Davison, thanks to his 6-foot, 236-pound frame, took over the de-facto H-back role for Oregon this season, operating as one of the best short-yardage backs in the country.
Grace will presumably have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
