NORMAN — OU football has been busy recruiting the transfer portal.

The Sooners kicked off the week with six commitments Monday from Colorado State running back Lloyd Avant, Colorado State tight end Rocky Beers, Oregon defensive back Dakoda Fields, Arkansas offensive lineman E’Marion Harris, Virginia wide receiver Trell Harris and Western Kentucky offensive lineman Caleb Nitta. OU also landed Florida tight end Hayden Hansen on Sunday.

The Sooners’ front office staff is still dishing out offers and welcoming a plethora of visitors on campus.

Twenty-two former OU players have entered the transfer portal.

Here’s what The Oklahoman is hearing on the Sooners’ targets and upcoming visits:

Texas WR Parker Livingstone

Livingstone visited OU on Monday.

The 6-foot-4, 191-pound redshirt freshman is viewed as a top-15 receiver in the portal and has three years of eligibility remaining.

The Lucas, Texas, native was the No. 149 overall recruit in the 2024 class and redshirted in 2024 after appearing in four games as a true freshman.

Livingstone would give the Sooners a dynamic playmaker at receiver, a position of need this offseason.

OU is awaiting his decision, which could come any time.

Georgia Tech OL Peyton Joseph

The Sooners might not be done adding depth to their offensive line.

Joseph announced Tuesday he’s visiting OU on Friday. He’ll be at Tulane on Thursday.

He was a four-star and one of the most coveted interior offensive linemen in the 2025 recruiting class.

Michigan State DT Alex VanSumeren

At 6-foot-3, 300 pounds, VanSumeren would add depth to a defensive line that is losing a plethora of experience.

He’s played in 28 games in his career and recorded 71 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and three sacks across three seasons with the Spartans.

UTSA defensive lineman Kenny Ozowalu

Ozowalu visited the Sooners and Texas this past weekend.

He recorded 17 tackles, six tackles for loss and three sacks for the Roadrunners in 2025.

Michigan LB Cole Sullivan

Sullivan is expected to make a decision between staying put with the Wolverines or transferring to the Sooners.

As a sophomore this past season, Sullivan recorded 44 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks. He recovered a fumble against OU in Norman.

He would be a major get for Brent Venables.

Appalachian State WR Davion Dozier

Dozier has been offered by the Sooners and is planning to visit Norman, his agent told The Oklahoman. He also plans to visit Kansas and others.

It’s unclear if he’d still visit if OU lands Livingstone.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound redshirt sophomore caught 20 passes for 448 yards and five touchdowns this past season. He would give the Sooners a big-bodied playmaker.

Mississippi State offensive lineman Luke Work

Work is a potential OU target.

He would bring more depth and experience to Bill Bedenbaugh’s unit. He has played in 23 games.
