NORMAN — Oklahoma football continued its hot March on the recruiting trail.

The Sooners landed a commitment from 2027 interior offensive lineman Isaac Coughran, he announced Tuesday. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound prospect chose OU over Arizona, Baylor, Houston and Rutgers.

Coughran is the Sooners‘ seventh commitment this month as part of their No. 1-ranked 2027 recruiting class. OU now holds commitments from 20 total 2027 prospects.

The Katy, Texas, native is the fifth offensive line commitment in the Sooners’ 2027 class joining five-star Cooper Hackett, four-star Kaeden Penny, as well as three-stars Luke Wilson and Tyson Ross.

Coughran visited Norman earlier this month for “Future Freaks” weekend and will be back on campus in May.
