OU football finishes regular season with high chance of making CFP

Week 14 of the 2025 college football season is in the books.

Here’s how every college football team in the state of Oklahoma fared.

NCAA Division I

Oklahoma

Oklahoma (10-2) avoided an upset against LSU with a 17-13 home win. The Sooners now await their College Football Playoff fate, which will be revealed next Sunday. OU finished fifth in the SEC standings.

Oklahoma State

OSU (1-11) finished a season to forget with a 20-13 home loss to Iowa State. The Cowboys’ season ended without bowl eligibility and a new coach, Eric Morris, lined up for the 2026 season. OSU finished last in the Big 12 standings with no conference wins.

Tulsa

UAB held off Tulsa for a 31-24 win Saturday at H.A. Chapman Stadium in the season finale. Ajay Allen ran for 129 yards on 27 carries and scored one touchdown for the Golden Hurricane (4-8, 1-7 AAC). Braylin Presley added 46 rushing yards on five attempts with a touchdown. Jevon Jackson rallied the Blazers (4-8, 2-6) with a 117 rushing yards and a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns.

NCAA Division II

Central Oklahoma

Central Oklahoma (6-5, 6-3 MIAA) finished third behind co-champions Northwest Missouri and Pittsburg State.

East Central

East Central (6-5) was the highest-ranked Oklahoma team in the final Great American Conference standings, finishing sixth. Next up is a road game against Northeastern State on Dec. 6 at 1 p.m., for the First Americans Bowl.

Northeastern State

Northeastern State (8-3) will host East Central at 1 p.m. Dec. 6 for the First Americans Bowl.

Northwestern Oklahoma State

NWOSU (2-9) finished 10th in the GAC standings.

Oklahoma Baptist

OBU (2-9) finished the season 11th, just ahead of last place, in the final GAC standings.

Southeastern Oklahoma State

SEOSU (5-6) finished eighth in the GAC standings.

Southern Nazarene

SNU (2-9) finished the season in last place in the GAC standings.

Southwestern Oklahoma State

SWOSU (6-5) finished the year seventh in the GAC.

NAIA

Langston

Langston (3-7) finished fifth in the Sooner Athletic Conference at the end of the season.

Oklahoma Panhandle State

Oklahoma Panhandle State (3-7) finished seventh in the SAC at the end of the season.

NJCAA

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (6-4) fell to Tyler Junior College 33-14 in the SWJCFC Championship Game.
