NORMAN — OU football’s on-field momentum is translating to the recruiting trail.
Following their 17-13 win over LSU on Saturday, the Sooners landed a commitment from 2027 four-star edge rusher Krew Jones. Jones, a 6-foot-4, 230-pound edge rusher from Millville, Utah, chose OU over Ohio State and Oregon.
“Hard to kill, OUDNA,” Jones posted on social media.
Jones joins a loaded 2027 class, which includes five-star offensive tackle Cooper Hackett, four-star offensive tackle Kaeden Penny, four-star athlete Demare Dezeurn and more. Jones is OU’s eighth commitment in its 2027 class.
The Sooners hosted a plethora of recruits, including Jones, Saturday and it’s expected that more commitments will follow.
