OU football landed a blue-chip recruit during the Navy All-American Bowl on Saturday.
Four-star edge rusher/linebacker Taven Epps committed to the Sooners, he told On3. Epps was previously committed to Texas, but decommitted in November.
The Tustin High School (California) standout chose OU over Georgia, Notre Dame and USC.
The Sooners had been trending for Epps following visits to Norman on Oct. 25 and Nov. 29.
Epps is viewed as a top-25 edge rusher nationally in the 2027 recruiting class.
