NORMAN — OU football will be without a few starters against LSU on Saturday.

Jake Maikkula, the Sooners’ starting center, was ruled out on Friday’s SEC availability report. OU’s depth at center was already slim after Troy Everett’s season-ending injury earlier this season.

Offensive lineman Heath Ozaeta was listed as doubtful on Friday. Defensive lineman Jayden Jackson was removed from the report, meaning he’ll be available.

Defensive end R Mason Thomas was listed as out Thursday and will miss his third consecutive game. He injured himself during a 71-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the first quarter of OU’s win over Tennessee on Nov. 1.

Cornerback Gentry Williams was also listed as out Thursday. He hasn’t played since injuring his shoulder against South Carolina.
