Paoli introduces new football coach

The Paoli Pugs have introduced Jon Ross as their new head football coach and athletic director.

An online post shows Ross has served as a classroom teacher in English, U.S. history, Texas history, world cultures, government and economics.

His coaching experience has been in football, basketball, track and field, soccer, cross country and tennis.

As for football, Ross has coached the offensive line, served as a defensive coordinator and has been a head middle school football coach, middle school athletic coordinator and head boy and girls soccer coach.

He is “committed to developing disciplined, hard working student athletes who represent their school, team and community with pride.”

Ross is also credited with building strength and conditioning programs.

The hiring comes just days into the formal start of Albert McReynolds’ tenure as Paoli’s new school superintendent.

McReynolds officially started his duties July 1 as he replaces David Morris in the top administrator’s office.
