The Nittany Lions are continue to build out their offensive line depth via the transfer portal with the latest addition of former Tiffin University (DII) offensive lineman Tyshon Huff.
Huff is a 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive lineman that played both guard and tackle at Tiffin University, which is located in Ohio. He was a 2023 high school graduate that took a redshirt season in 2023 and only appeared in one game in 2024, but started 11 games this past season as a redshirt sophomore. Now he’ll come to Penn State to be a depth piece with some upside. He reports a 7-foot-3 wingspan — which is, obviously, quite ridiculous — so if he takes to the strength and conditioning program and Ryan Clanton’s coaching, he’s someone who has the traits to make the jump to the Division I game.
To give a rundown of the scholarship offensive linemen Penn State now has, here it is based on class level:
Dom Rulli (RS SR)
Anthony Donkoh (RS JR)
Trevor Buhr (RS JR)
Chimdy Onoh (RS JR)
Tyshon Huff (RS JR)
Cooper Cousins (JR)
Garrett Sexton (RS SO)
Caleb Brewer (RS SO)
Donnie Harbour (RS SO)
Brock Riser (RS FR)
Owen Aliciene (RS FR)
Malachi Goodman (RS FR)
Will Tompkins (RS FR)
Kuol Kuol (RS FR)
Vaea Ikakoula (RS FR)
Mason Bandhauer (FR)
Pete Eglitis (FR)
That’s 17, a healthy spot to be in post transfer portal.
