Penn State Opens as Favorite Over Michigan State

It was another week, another heartbreak for Nittany Lions. Penn State suffered its sixth consecutive defeat by giving up a late touchdown to Indiana to fall 27-24. However, their fortunates are predicted to finally change in week 12 as Penn State opened as an 8.5-point favorite over Michigan State, according to FanDuel.
Both teams have yet to win a game in conference play, sharing 0-6 records against Big Ten opponents and are 3-6 overall. Michigan State will be coming off a bye week. The Spartans lost its most recent game in overtime to Minnesota, 23-20, following defeats against USC, Nebraska, UCLA, Indiana and Michigan since starting conference play.
Purdue is the only other Big team team without a conference win. Wisconsin had previously been winless in conference play before upsetting #23 Washington on Saturday.
