Poll: Which Top 10 School Is Most Likely to Fade?

Have you had a chance yet to digest Athlon Sports’ college footballpreseason top 25? Athlon’s Steven Lassan has Ohio State at No. 1, with defending champion Indiana at No. 5.
Those are two of the three Big Ten schools in the top 10 (Oregon is No. 6). And even though there has been much talk of the Big Ten taking over as the best conference in the sport, the SEC is better represented here — it features five of Lassan’s top 10 (Georgia at 2, Texas at 3, Oklahoma at 8, Texas A&M at 9, LSU at 10). Roundng out the top 10 are Notre Dame at No. 4 and Miami at No. 7
Earlier this week, we asked you which team just outside Lassan’s top 10 had the best chance to crack the top 10. Two more SEC teams — Ole Miss and Alabama — were running neck and neck in that poll.
Of course, if a team jumps into the top 10, that means another team has to drop out.
