Coming into the 2026 college football season, the Alabama Crimson Tide are looking for a bounce-back year.
Alabama did finish the year 11-3, making the College Football Playoff. But in Tuscaloosa, anything other than a title means a wasted season.
So, heading into the new 2026 season, what will the Crimson Tide's record be? Here is a prediction for each game:
Week 1: vs East Carolina, Win
The Crimson Tide start the year at home against East Carolina, giving them a chance to come away with a win. Teams like this can be tricky, especially in a season opener, but playing in front of the Tuscaloosa crowd should give them the edge.
Give me Alabama to get the season kicked off with a fairly easy victory.
Week 2: @ Kentucky, Win
Much like the first game, this could be a tough matchup for the Crimson Tide. Kentucky has a new head coach, and this could be a statement game for them.
The first road game of the season is always tough, but I like Alabama to handle business against the Wildcats.
Week 3: vs Florida State, Win
Last season, Alabama was manhandled in the season opener against Florida State. But this time around, they will get some revenge, with quarterback Keelon Russell breaking out in this game.
Give me the Crimson Tide to grab the big win.
Week 4: vs South Carolina, Win
South Carolina presents some problems, especially for the Alabama defense. LaNorris Sellers can make life tough for any team, but the Gamecocks fall short.
The Crimson Tide will do just enough to contain LaNorris Sellers, helping propel the Tide to a perfect start to the year.
Week 5: @ Mississippi State, Win
Road SEC games are always a challenge, no matter the opponent. Mississippi State hasn't been that great over the last few years, but they put up a fight against some top teams last season.
But in the end, Alabama sneaks out of Starkville with the win.
Week 6: vs Georgia, Loss
This is where the Crimson Tide will drop the first game of the season. Georgia is far too good of a team, and Alabama won't be able to stay with them.
Alabama keeps it close in the first half, before the Bulldogs run away with it after halftime.
Week 7: @ Tennessee, Win
Going on the road to face the Volunteers is never easy. But the Volunteers do have a true freshman under center this year.
I like Alabama to get the huge road win coming off the tough loss against Georgia the week prior.
Week 8: vs Texas A&M, Win
This is going to be the win that gets people to finally believe in the Crimson Tide this year. Texas A&M should be good again this season, but playing in Tuscaloosa isn't easy.
I like Alabama to pull off what could be an upset at home here.
Week 9: Bye Week
Week 10: @ LSU, Loss
Most of the time, when LSU and Alabama get together, fireworks tend to happen on the field. But this year, the Crimson Tide may not have the firepower to keep up with the Tigers.
Lane Kiffin and the Tigers get the better of Alabama here.
Week 11: @ Vanderbilt, Win
Vanderbilt is better than they have been in the past, but Alabama is still the better team. I like the Crimson Tide to get the victory here, bouncing back from a previous week's loss.
Week 12: vs Chattanooga, Win
This should be an easy tune-up for the Crimson Tide following a tough SEC schedule. I like Alabama to get the win in this one, setting them up for a massive final week matchup against Auburn.
Week 13: vs Auburn Tigers, Win
It doesn't matter what the records of the two teams are for this game; the rivalry is one of the best in college football. This feels like a potential trap game for the Crimson Tide, especially with Auburn wanting to ruin their season.
But with the game being at home, I like Alabama to prevail.
Final record prediction: 10-2, outside chance at the CFP
