Predicting AP Top 25 college football poll entering Week 6 of 2026 season

There were three ranked matchups in Week 5 of college football, but none of them turned out to be very good games. Ohio State trounced Iowa in Kinnick. Then both Missouri and Alabama took care of business against Florida and Mississippi State, respectively.

While those ranked teams suffered a loss, none of the teams toward the bottom of the AP Top 25 poll lost a game. As Week 6 starts to come into view, there might not be any teams dropping out of the updated poll when it comes out on Sunday.

There will certainly be some shuffling, though. Here is how the AP Top 25 poll might look when it comes out at 2 p.m. ET.
