Recruiting Rankings

Class of 2026: Consensus 3-star, No. 67 ranked running back, per 247Sports

D’Antae Sheffey initially committed to Syracuse last year, but backed out just a few months later. That reopened his recruitment and he eventually committed to Penn State instead, where he’ll begin his college career.

Career Stats

Sheffey hasn’t played at the college level, but totaled 3,806 rushing yards and 58 touchdowns during his high school career

Depth Chart Overview

Just a three-star recruit, it seems unlikely like that Sheffey will see the field much this year. He will need to earn his stripes on special teams and try to climb up the depth chart that way.

Random Fact

Sheffey was a pretty good receiver in high school, catching 45 passes for 429 yards and four touchdowns.
