Brody Tolbert has committed to Georgia.

The sophomore defensive back posted to his Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 6, that he was committing to continue his career with Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.

Tolbert spent one season with Samford but did not record any stats as a defensive back. He played wide receiver and cornerback in high school.

He graduated from Prince Avenue Christian, recording 34 tackles (30 solo), one fumble recovery and one interception on defense, as well as one 35-yard reception for a touchdown on offense his senior season. He went 51-7 overall under Greg Vandagriff, winning two state titles and four region titles.

Tolbert is the third Prince Avenue Christian player to make a transfer this season. Former quarterback Aaron Philo and former wide receiver Bailey Stockton also transferred, going from Georgia Tech to Florida with former Jackets offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner.

The Bulldogs went 12-2 this season.
