Purdue Football Announces 2026 Game Dates

As we are in the full swing of basketball season, Purdue football announced today its full upcoming schedule for the 2026 season. We previously knew the opponents that Purdue would play but now the game dates are known as well. They are as follows:

9/05 – Indiana State at Purdue
9/12 – Wake Forest at Purdue
9/19 – Purdue at UCLA
9/26 – Notre Dame at Purdue
10/03 – Purdue at Illinois
10/10 – Minnesota at Purdue
10/17 – Washington at Purdue
10/24 – BYE week
10/31 – Purdue at Penn State
11/07 – Maryland at Purdue
11/14 – Purdue at Iowa
11/21 – Wisconsin at Purdue
11/28 – Purdue at Indiana

At first glance, this appears to be the most manageable schedule Purdue has had in a few years. Of course, Purdue will still have to take on rivals Notre Dame and Indiana while Penn State looks to finally rise to national prominence under Matt Campbell. That said, it just feels slightly more in Purdue’s favor this year. That by no means guarantees anything, especially not victories, but it sure does give us something more to argue about over the next 8 months. Until then, we can relish in the fact that Purdue football won’t have to play on a Friday next season and start planning vacations for the 10/24 bye week. Happy arguing.
