For the first time in almost three years Purdue is coming off of a Big Ten victory. Saturday’s 24-17 win in Champaign will not go down as the most memorable college football game ever. in fact, it is most likely going to go down as “A college football game that did, indeed, occur on October 3, 2026”. For a program like Purdue and where it has been the last few seasons, finishing a game with more points than the conference opposition feels like heaven. Gone is the 19 game Big Ten losing streak. Gone is the 24 game Power Conference losing streak (if you consider 2024 Oregon State to still be power conference). For one week, at least, Purdue sits ahead of heavyweights Penn State ad Michigan, and regardless of recrord that feels pretty damn good.

It is time to move forward to Minnesota, however.

First this week we have Barry Odom with his weekly press conference.

Next we have Josh Henson weighing in on the offense:

Finally, Kevin Kane talks about the Purdue defense’s improvement.
