Ranking the Heisman Trophy winners since 2000. Who is No. 1?

The 2025 Heisman Trophy winner will be announced 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 13.

The finalists are Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza, Vanderbilt’s Diego Pavia, Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love and Ohio State’s Julian Sayin. Who will hear their name called as college football’s best player?

Before we get there, we took a look back at Heisman winners since 2000 and ranked them 25-1. They were ranked on their Heisman-winning season and college achievements. Not what they became as pros.
