Rapper 50 Cent is bringing OU's new fourth-quarter tradition to reality.

The New York native's song "Many Men (Wish Death)" is sung by Sooner fans entering the fourth quarter. The song first appeared in Owen Field at the end of the third quarter of OU's 17-6 win against Missouri, after the debut of a new video featuring season highlights and key plays.

For OU's game against Alabama in the first round of the College Football Playoff, Curtis James Jackson III, or 50 Cent, took over Oklahoma Memorial Stadium to further solidify his 2003 song as a new tradition for the Sooners. The Sooners entered the fourth quarter trailing by 10 points but scored a touchdown two plays later.

"That was awesome," quarterback John Mateer said after the Missouri game. "We like that (song)."

Defensive lineman Gracen Halton said the team plays the song in the locker room before games and practice.

"I was surprised to hear it," Halton said. "Everybody wants to see what the fourth quarter song is, so when I heard 'Many Men' I was like 'Ooh, OK.' I wanna keep that."
