The 24-year-old Heisman Trophy runner-up had already accepted an invitation to Baltimore’s rookie minicamp this weekend.

Pavia led Vanderbilt to a 10-3 record in 2025, passing for 3,539 yards and 29 touchdowns and rushing for 862 yards with 10 more touchdowns.

He finished second in Heisman voting behind former Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who was selected first overall by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2026 draft.

Pavia was named first-team All-American and SEC Offensive Player of the Year — and he won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award as the best upperclassman quarterback in college football in 2025.

During a Monday appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Schefter said Pavia “got a couple of invitations” from other teams for minicamps if the Ravens didn’t sign him.

Pavia’s height was a pivotal talking point ahead of the NFL Scouting Combine.

Pavia — who was listed at 6-feet tall and 207 pounds on the Commodores’ website for the 2025 season — was measured at 5-9 ⅞ inches and 198 pounds while at Senior Bowl practices in January.

Off the field, he made waves online when he posted “F–K ALL THE VOTERS” on social media after Mendoza won the Heisman over him.

The Ravens also signed undrafted UConn quarterback Joey Fagnano, per NFL Network.

Fagnano threw for nearly 3,500 yards and 28 touchdowns last season for the Huskies.

The Ravens have starter Lamar Jackson and veteran Tyler Huntley in their quarterback room.

Pavia transferred to Vanderbilt before the 2024 season after two seasons at New Mexico State University. He spent two seasons at New Mexico Military Institute (2020-21).
