The Auburn Tigers continue to prove why they are one of the hardest-working programs on the 2027 recruiting trail by adding two more players to their haul on Monday.
The Auburn Tigers are now a top-15 team for the 2027 recruiting cycle after adding four-star offensive lineman Reed Ramsier and four-star defensive back Chance Gilbert on Monday. The Tigers climbed to No. 15 in 247Sports’ rankings and are now the No. 11 team in Rivals’ rankings.
Alex Golesh and his staff added a pair of talented four-stars to their 2027 haul on Monday. Florida offensive lineman Reed Ramsier got the day started by choosing the Tigers over Texas following a successful official visit to the Plains. Ramsier told reporters that Auburn had the edge over Texas before departing last weekend, and made his pledge known the following day.
Another official visitor from last weekend, Chance Gilbert, closed the day by committing to the Auburn Tigers over Georgia. The East Coweta High School product shared with Jeffrey Lee of Rivals that Auburn’s environment stood out to him most during his official visit, which ultimately led him to pledge to Auburn. As an 11th grader in 2025, Gilbert recorded 53 tackles and three interceptions.
Next up for Auburn is the announcement of four-star EDGE Rion Jackson, which is set for Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. CT. Auburn and Virginia Tech are the top two teams remaining in the hunt for Jackson, but Auburn was viewed as the favorite as of last week.
