Michigan State football is preparing for its 2026 campaign, the first under Pat Fitzgerald’s command in East Lansing. While preparing for play on the field, the coaching staff is also gearing up for a big fall of recruiting, which includes closing out the 2027 recruiting class and laying the foundation for the 2028 and 2029 recruiting classes.
A key prospect that the Spartans are planning to have on campus is Edmund McAllister. McAllister (5-8, 185 pounds), is a running back from Pickerington, Ohio, and plays for Pickerington Central High School. He ranks as the No. 28 player nationally and the No. 2 RB according to Rivals.
In a recent interview with Allen Trieu of Rivals, McAllister noted that he is planning a trip to East Lansing this fall, although no date was provided yet.
Edmund McAllister debuted in today's 2029 Rivals 100 as the No. 2 RB nationally.
