It’s playoff time in the Rhode Island high school football season! And the Providence Journal has you covered Here’s where you can turn to find out for the championship round of the playoffs.
The Providence Journal will be listing the final scores and as many recaps stats as we can get this weekend, so check out the scores and stats from the championships below!
🏈No. 3 Hendricken vs. No. 1 La Salle, 7 p.m.
State Championship
End of the first quarter: If you like defense, we’ve got a game for you after the first 12 minutes. La Salle and Hendricken are scoreless after the opening frame. There have been six punts to start this championship.
La Salle won the toss and elected to receive the opening kick.
6:45: The National Anthem is about to kick us off shortly. And the stands, on the longer side of the field, are essentially filled up. There’s still seats on the far side, behind the Hendricken bench.
6:00 p.m.: Both teams are on the field warming up for the State Championship and fans are trickling into Cranston Stadium. We’re expecting 3,000 in attendance tonight.
The Hawks and Rams clash for the State Championship tonight. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. and you can follow along with the action right here!

Division I Consolation Final
Saturday, Nov. 22 at Cranston Stadium
🏈No. 2 South Kingstown vs. No. 1 Westerly, noon
Division II Championship
Sunday, Nov. 23 at Cranston Stadium
🏈No. 2 Mt. Hope vs. No. 1 Classical, 3:30 p.m.
Division III Championship
Sunday, Nov. 23 at Cranston Stadium
🏈No. 3 Davies vs. No. 1 Narragansett, noon
Division IV Championship
Saturday, Nov. 22at Cranston Stadium
