NASHVILLE — The Rivals Camp Series made its final stop of this year in Tennessee, and recruits from Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia showed up to compete.

Here is the latest intel on some of the top blue-chips in attendance.

Emerging pass rusher names a dream school

Javontae Eldridge (6-4, 235) was one of the breakout performers from Rivals Camp Nashville. So far this spring he’s been to Indiana, Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame. He was at Notre Dame’s spring game over the weekend. Eldridge was impressed with how competitive the game was with good battles between the offense and defense.

In-state Indiana has been in consistent contact with him too. He’s got an open door to go to Bloomington to visit the program. But there is one school that he’s hoping to hear from more. USC has always been a “dream school” for him ever since he was young.

Ifeanyi Emedobi locks in official visits

Texas Tech, Minnesota, Notre Dame and Nebraska are a handful of the schools involved with Emedobi. The Indiana native is also considering Penn State. He was back at Notre Dame on Saturday for the Irish’s spring game. It was his second visit of the spring to South Bend.

“The more you go somewhere the more it feels like home. Because everybody starts to become a familiar face.”

Notre Dame is emerging as the top contender. But they aren’t the only school in hot pursuit of the fast pass rusher. He’s got official visits locked in with Minnesota, Penn State, Notre Dame and USF.

Top 2028 DL rethinking timeline

Kellan Hall is one of the top players in the country for the 2028 recruiting class. He’s been on a big spring tour visiting several of his top schools. His most recent visit was to Ole Miss to check out the new staff in place there. Georgia, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Ohio State are a few of the early standouts for Hall.

He counted Oklahoma, Georgia, Kentucky and Texas A&M as some of his closest relationships with coaches. He was eying a commitment this season but he’s not locked into that anymore. Hall would like to see some game day atmospheres this fall.

ACC battle brewing for touted OL

Justyn Perez is a Woodford County (Ky.) offensive lineman that holds several offers from around the country. Kentucky, Arkansas and Virginia Tech are all pushing hard. But this could be shaping up to be an ACC battle.

NC State has made a huge impression here. Perez will be on campus May 18-19 for an official visit. But don’t count out Virginia Tech. Perez was on campus April 20 and the Hokies are “really high” for him after that visit.

Close battle brewing for big OT

Alijah Shaw (6-9, 273) recently took an official visit to Oklahoma State where the Cowboys made a big impression on him. He thought their coaches were really involved in everything that was done at the facility. The staff is also pushing hard for him, which he likes a lot. Shaw also liked the way they practiced.

Arkansas, Wisconsin and Minnesota will also get official visits from Shaw.

This is a close race heading into the rest of his official visits. Those trips will go a long way to decide who ultimately wins the recruitment.

“I’m definitely looking for a school that could get me to the next level,” Shaw said.

“I want to play a long time in the NFL.”

Committed prospect still hearing from others

Big defensive back Allen Evans (6-1, 180) was certainly an eye-catcher during camp on Sunday. The defender is already committed but that has not slowed other programs from coming calling.

“I am committed to Louisville as of right now! But there are a lot of schools still heavily recruiting me,” Evans said. I’m still weighing out all of the options as I go through the process.”

One of the things that he really likes about Louisville is the other prospects in the class. He thinks the class that Louisville is building is elite. Tennessee, Alabama, Vanderbilt and SMU are just a few the schools that he’s hearing from lately.
