Rutgers remains in the mix for one of the top players in Pennsylvania.

Four-star offensive lineman Terrance Smith narrowed his list down to five teams and the Scarlet Knights were listed alongside four SEC programs.

Smith told Hayes Fawcett of On3 that his final five is made up of Rutgers, LSU, Florida, Auburn, and Tennessee. He will begin taking steps forward in his recruitment as he faces a busy spring season of visits.

The Lansdale Catholic product is currently ranked as the No. 9 player in Pennsylvania, No. 266 overall, and No. 14 interior offensive lineman in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite.

Smith has scheduled visits with all four SEC programs coming up. Auburn seems to have taken a bit of a lead as he was on an unofficial visit earlier in the month. He also has an official visit with Lane Kiffin and his staff on April 17.

Greg Schiano and company have recruited the offensive line well in recent years and will look to steal another big fish up front.
