Towards the end of the Longhorns win over rival Texas A&M last November, the jumbotron at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium played a video trolling the Aggies. The fans loved it and it went viral on social media. But it turns out Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian wasn't a fan of the clip.
Last year, Aggies coach Mike Elko claimed Texas A&M was the "flagship university in the State of Texas." Of course, this didn't sit well with Longhorns fans, who view UT as the state's flagship school. Texas is located a mile from the Texas Capitol building.
With :29 seconds left in UT's 27-17 win over A&M, the media team at DKR played a video that repeated that Elko quote quickly followed by a man yelling, "Psych!" Texas fans at the game cheered wildly and fans at home shared the video on social media by the thousands.

At SEC Media Days, Sarkisian was asked what he thought about it. Instead of thinking it was humorous, Sark sternly said he didn't like it.
"I was not happy about it," Sark told the media.

Rival or not, Sark didn't like his own stadium rubbing salt in the wound of an opponent with the game not even over yet.
"It's a hell of a rivalry," Sark said. "I'm fortunate to be part of it. I'm humbled. I'm honored. The great players, the great teams, the great coaches that have been a part of this game – I respect it. And I respect the competition. The last two years, those have been great games that have mattered. You know, two years ago, the winner of that game goes to the SEC Championship. Last year, we were fighting for, what we felt like was, our playoff lives. They were an undefeated team."
Sarkisian understands the emotions that come with such a bitter rivalry, but he thinks its important to manage the emotions and hated that accompany rivalry games.
Emotions run high in those games," Sark continued. "We had a team that was trying to think about going to plant a flag two years ago and I wouldn't let that happen. I respect the game of football and I respect college football. And I respect the football gods. And there's a way to go about our business and there's a way not.
So, rivalries are great. But we've got to be able to fight the emotions that come with a rivalry and I think that's why we've had success in some of our rivalry games. Whether it's A&M or OU or Arkansas, because I think we do a good job of managing our emotions. That's a real challenge when you get into games like that."
It is a good bet that was the last time the media team at DKR plays a video making fun of the opponent.
