The Seattle Seahawks' final preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs, slated for tonight at KC, is the last opportunity for those on the roster bubble to make the coaching staff notice them.

With roster cuts looming in a couple of days, the Seahawks will get to see a full game from the third- and fourth-string players as Mike Macdonald and his team work on putting together their 53-man roster.

The quarterback position is an interesting one.

Sam Darnold is the starter, and Drew Lock, after his two preseason outings, is the backup, but Jalen Milroe hasn't had the best of times in the two games.

Swapping and changing with Lock against the Dallas Cowboys and then against the Tennessee Titans, having the second half, it has been tough sledding for Jalen.

But Macdonald revealed that it will be Milroe all the way against the Chiefs.

"The starters, the guys that haven't been playing won't play again," Macdonald said. "Jalen's going to play the whole game, Drew will be ready to go, but Jalen's going to play the whole game."

With Milroe struggling in his two preseason outings, his stat line hasn't looked good…at all.

Combined, he's gone 11 of 19 for 86 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions, and five sacks. Plus, he and the offense were shut out in the second half against the Titans.

And for Macdonald, he's intrigued to see Milroe with a full game, no chopping and changing, to see how much he's improved.

"I think it's really great that he has an opportunity just like the Green Bay game last year where you're not subbing in, you're not coming in at halftime, you're going through the whole process of starting a game, getting in rhythm, managing the situations, all those things that we want from our quarterback," Macdonald said.

"So, I'm excited to see him play. It's a great opportunity for him."

The regular season is nearly upon us, and for a lot of players, after this preseason game, their NFL dreams will end, while others might get a shot elsewhere after cut down day.

But for Milroe, he's making this team, likely landing on the practice squad if Seattle keeps two quarterbacks; however, he's got to show some improvement on his first two outings.

And the Seahawks are giving him the runway to do just that.
