SEC Football Power Rankings. Texas A&M survives, Georgia thrives, Alabama dives

Texas A&M survived. Alabama didn’t. Georgia thrived. Texas didn’t. And now the SEC Championship Game scenarios are a hot mess. That’s what Week 12 did to the SEC standings, which can no longer settle on title-game combatants until Week 14. But the power rankings are ready now.

1. Texas A&M (10-0)

What to know: TAMU didn’t show up for the half that didn’t matter, South Carolina didn’t show up for the one that did.

2. Georgia (9-1)

Last week: 3

This week: vs Charlotte

What to know: At 7-1 in the league, the Dawgs reached the SEC finish line early. And might still finish first.

3. Ole Miss (10-1)

This week: Idle

What to know: If Kewan Lacy could run against Florida every week, he’d be Jim Brown.
