SEC football recruiting rankings after talented OL commits to Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs hold one of the best 2027 recruiting classes in the SEC and the Dawgs just recently landed a commitment from 3-star offensive lineman Abram Eisenhower. Georgia has eight total commits from the 2027 class according to 247Sports, as the Bulldogs build their recruiting class ahead of signing day.
The Oklahoma Sooners have the top recruiting class in the nation, followed by Texas A&M at No. 2. Georgia currently holds the third-best 2027 class in the SEC followed. The Bulldogs 2027 class is ranked No. 6 in the nation. Oklahoma currently holds an impressive 20 total commits, with 11 4-star and nine 3-star recruits’ currently committed to the program. Texas A&M has 11 total commits including one 5-star and nine 4-star players, as the Aggies have some serious ground to make up in their recruiting class to catch the Sooners at the No. 1 spot.
The SEC has six total teams with a top-20 2027 recruiting classes in the nation, per 247Sports. Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee and Missouri are ranked with a top 20 class in the country as of April 6. The SEC currently has just three total teams in the top-10 as well, as the conference is expected to see an influx of commitments over the upcoming months.
Coach Kirby Smart and his staff continue to add elite talent to an already impressive class. The Bulldogs will continue to target some of the top recruits in the country after the recent addition of Eisenhower, as Georgia is expected to make a major push as we approach the early signing period in December.
