SEC football Week 2: Picks, predictions, where to watch

The SEC was the only conference in the FBS to go perfect in its respective contests in Week 1, but that will change this weekend with the first league matchup of the 2026 season on tap.

That contest features No. 12 Alabama traveling to Kroger Field to face the Kentucky Wildcats and first-year head coach Will Stein. The former Oregon offensive coordinator will make his SEC head coaching debut against a Crimson Tide team that ranks fifth in total defense through the first week of the season.

Former Big 12 members Missouri and Texas A&M will face members of that conference, with the Tigers traveling to face rival Kansas, while the Aggies host the Arizona State Sun Devils. Meanwhile, Oklahoma and Mississippi State make the haul up north to compete against Michigan and Minnesota, respectively.

This week's slate includes other key conference contests, but none match the massive showdown in Austin, Texas, as the No. 4 Longhorns host No. 1 Ohio State.

Here are picks, score predictions and where you can watch each SEC football matchup in Week 2:
