SEC Power Rankings: Where Alabama, Georgia sit ahead of Week 6 matchup

While not as loaded a slate as last weekend, Week 5 in the SEC was still eventful for a number of different reasons.

The conference's Week 5 slate saw two ranked vs. ranked matchups played in both Starkville and Columbia, each of which eventually became statement wins by the respective victors. One game also went to overtime in the SEC, with the eventual winning team completing a second half road comeback on the game's final play.

Those results now set up what is likely to be another huge slate in the SEC this upcoming weekend, headlined by a monster showdown between college football heavyweights in the biggest national matchup of Week 6.

Before we get there though, let's take a look at how the SEC's Week 5 results impacted the latest power rankings.
