The Oklahoma Sooners went 3-0 in their opening weekend of SEC softball action, sweeping the Auburn Tigers. Oklahoma earned a pair of run-rule wins in the process, but needed a late-game rally on Saturday to pull out the victory.

The Sooners are one of three SEC teams that remained undefeated after the second weekend of SEC play. Florida swept Kentucky, and Texas took care of business against Ole Miss to remain undefeated in conference play. The Tennessee Volunteers and Alabama Crimson Tide have some of the best pitching in the sport and were able to earn series wins over Mississippi State and Arkansas.

Mississippi State earned a walk-off win over Tennessee on Saturday when Vols star pitcher Erin Nuwer allowed a home run to Taylor Troutman. Karlyn Pickens received more run support in the rubber match and earned the 4-1 win over the Bulldogs.

Arkansas boasts the third-best team batting average in the SEC, and they showed it on Saturday, pushing six earned runs across the plate on eight hits on Alabama starter Vic Moten. Moten is in the top 10 in the SEC in ERA, but struggled on Saturday. The Crimson Tide bounced back on Sunday thanks to a strong outing from star pitcher Jocelyn Briski.

Through two weekends, the top of the SEC has revealed itself with five teams that look like legitimate contenders in the SEC.

Here's a look at the SEC standings through two weekends of conference play.
